Aug 29, 2026 · Precise layout and element fit
- Enter selected-element X and Y positions and W and H sizes as pixel numbers for the current canvas, with immediate updates from typing or the stepper arrows.
- Fit to canvas adjusts position, size, and display like a background, while Fit inside selection changes only how media appears in the current element frame.
- Press Delete after selecting an element to remove it; the shortcut is safely ignored while typing, previewing, in fullscreen, or when the layer is locked.
- A solid background now shows only the chosen color, without Studio’s decorative stars, glow, or the empty-canvas first-element prompt.
- Cover, Show all, and Original display choices remain consistent in project save and restore, thumbnails, static merging, and motion rendering.
Aug 29, 2026 · Six analog clock designs
- Choose Minimal, Classic, Roman, Glass, Neon, or Pixel analog clocks alongside the existing digital clock.
- Hour, minute, and second hands show the current time. The second hand steps exactly 6° once per second rather than sweeping smoothly.
- Seconds, date, and numerals can be toggled independently, with separate colors for the face, markers and numerals, hour and minute hands, and second hand.
- Project thumbnails, selected-folder storage, and `.ambientpack` backup and restore preserve these settings. Clocks in older projects and backups safely retain their original digital appearance.
Aug 29, 2026 · Studio decorative assets
- The effect catalog is now curated to Star field, Gentle snow, and Night rain, with low-value effects and three frames removed.
- Snow and rain no longer move one flat picture. Instead, 96 snowflakes and 132 rain streaks fall independently with varied sizes, speeds, and starting positions.
- Seventy-eight stars twinkle on separate rhythms. Particle motion pauses while editing and runs in preview and fullscreen to protect editor performance.
- Thirty celestial, botanical, cozy, aquatic, seasonal, and geometric decorations are new, bringing the library to 34 transparent decorations and 40 total assets.
- The grid lazy-loads lightweight WebP thumbnails. Only selected full-size decorations are copied into device-local or folder projects and included in `.ambientpack` backups.
Aug 29, 2026 · Storage switching and project management
- Use a folder you select as project storage in supported Edge and Chrome versions.
- After connecting a folder, review projects left in browser storage and safely copy only the ones you choose.
- When browser and folder versions of the same project differ, ScreenWisp makes a separate copy instead of overwriting either source.
- Project directories now use readable screen names while stable IDs remain inside the JSON files.
Aug 29, 2026 · Scene merging and performance tools
- Merge static backgrounds, images, and fixed text into one WebP or PNG image.
- Render animated images, GIFs, video, and movement effects into one video.
- Choose the elements to merge and retain their source state so they can be restored after limit checks.
- Use automatic performance measurement, playback-quality choices, media analysis, and local video optimization in supported browsers.
Aug 28, 2026 · Editor canvas and motion paths
- Zoom the editor canvas with the mouse wheel and place path points in the offscreen work area.
- Choose a straight or smooth curve for each path segment and inspect connections and segment states on the canvas.
- Resize images, GIFs, and video from edges or corners while object dragging preserves the original grab offset.
- Choose cover, contain, or contain with a blurred fill independently for background media.
Aug 27, 2026 · Gallery and display-ratio support
- Added 16 ScreenWisp original-artwork image themes and placed image themes first in the gallery.
- Added dedicated 21:9 and 4:3 artwork plus safe blurred fill for a wider range of PC displays.
- Connected Korean and English home, theme detail, guide, FAQ, privacy, terms, and contact pages.
- Added My screensavers as a local place to run, edit, and back up personal projects.
